One thing "Night Shift" got right was a character arc. This seems so rare these days so that was nice to see. In the end it exceeded my expectations in terms of being a good film but it was a pure pleasure in delivering 80's nostalgia. Pros-pure 80's-Michael Keaton was great, very funny-funny moments-great character arc for the main character/5().

Night Shift. I had not viewed this movie in several years after my old VHS copy fell apart, and it brought back many great memories! I have always loved this movie, especially the Micheal Keaton part, and have seen the movie many times since it came out in /5(10).

The memory can do funny things to you. Night Shift is a flick that conjured up remarkably fond memories, and one which I must have viewed an alarming number of times in my younger days as I remembered almost every line in it. It came as quite the surprise then to realise how very much of its time it is, as ooh boy does it look dated now.
